How to make it

  • in a 2 qt sauce pan, cook potatos and onions with the bay leaves until just tender
  • add the butter and fish, and cook covered for about 10 mins on medium heat
  • add the milk, and bring the temp back up to almost a boil turn off heat,
  • cover and let set for a while
  • serve with crackers and if you want it thickened, crumble a few saltines into it.
