Caramel-pecan Ice Cream

- 3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans shopping list
- 4 cups milk or half and half shopping list
- 1 (10 ounce jar ) of caramel topping shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract shopping list
- dash of salt shopping list
How to make it
- 1. In a large bowl combine the milk, caramel topping, vanilla and dash of salt and whisk to blend and place in ice cream machine and follow manufacturers instructions.
- 2. When the ice cream is nearly done then add the pecans to the ice cream and let it go for a couple of minutes then remove and place in containers and freeze until firm enough to scoop or overnight.
