How to make it

  • In a lge dutch oven saute garlic and add pepper flakes and cook till fragrant...be careful not to burn!!
  • Add pureed tomatoes, s/p and simmer till thickened.
  • Stir in half the basil and cilantro.
  • Meanwhile cook your penne. Drain well.
  • Pour sauce over noodles and top with remaining fresh basil and parmesan cheese. Serve with a crisp green salad. So delicious!!
