How to make it

  • 1. In saucepan combine the sugar, cocoa powder and salt, whisk to blend. Graduallly mix in the water and coffee and then whisk in the corn syrup until well blended.
  • 2. Cook over the medium heat whisking frequently for 3-5 minutes or until the sugar dissolves and the liquid smoooth. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool. Then stir in the vanilla, cover and place in fridge for 2 hours or until cold.
  • 3. Whisk again to blend then pour into your ice cream maker and freeze according to manufactuers instructions.
  • 4. Thenpour into a container and freeze until it is firm enough to scoop.
