How to make it

  • Remove seeds & stems from chili pods.In a soup pot boil chili pods w/salt & garlic,.Until tender put into a blender with garlic & salt. Blend & put aside. Then brown meat,with garlic & salt. When meat is done add chili blend ,stir & take a 8 ounce glass of water & mix with 2 tablespoon of corn starch stir & put into the meat & chili mix, stir add water as you go along to make a thick gravy meat chili base.Now hopefully you have a big pot that has been filled with thick meat sauce.Sometimes another glass of cornstarch water is required to achieve this effect. Next take a fry pan with oil & do the soft quick dip method.Put onto paper towel & let excess oil be drained & cool. Then take a casserole dish & layer the bottom with meat sauce ,lay corn tortillas or roll effect into pan & add sauce again & then plenty of cheese, repeat until you have reach 1 inch under the rim.Bake in a preheated oven at 375○ or 400○ for 40 minutes. remove from oven ,dice green onions for toppings and serve with Spanish rice refried beans,salad,salsa or Pico de gayo salsa
