Nutty Banana Split With Caramel Salt Butter Sauce

Inspired by macarons in Paris which Ive blogged about on http://secretstobeautyhealthandhappiness.blogspot.com/, I wanted the gorgeous salty sweet taste of caramel salt butter with ice-cream. This is a decadent dessert for entertaining that is simple to make and it is healthy at the same time. Ingredients
- 1 banana shopping list
- 3 almonds shopping list
- 6 peanuts shopping list
- 3 macadamia nuts shopping list
- 3 brazil nuts shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of crushed hazelnuts shopping list
- 1 scoop of your favourite ice-cream shopping list
- 30g of shaved dark chocolate shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of butter shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Arrange nuts and banana on a plate
- 2. Take out ice-cream from the freezer
- 3. Melt butter in a pan on low heat, add salt, mix until dissolved then take off the stove. Mix in caramel sauce.
- 4. Scoop ice-cream onto the plate. Add shaved dark chocolate and drizzle on the caramel salt butter sauce.
- 5. Serve immediately
- Any variation of nuts can be used. You may want to use shaved milk or white chocolate instead of dark chocolate depending on the flavour ice-cream to offset the colour and taste.
