How to make it

  • No oil is really necessary as the bacon renders enough fat on it's own
  • Add bacon, onion to pan and saute until onion is almost translucent or bacon is browned.
  • Add chopped garlic and saute a min til aroma is released,
  • add roasted red peppers, and tomatoes to pan.
  • Simmer for 3 minutes til heated thru.
  • Add evap milk, stock, thyme, peas, and cooked chicken
  • Continue to simmer until sauce thickens 3 to 6 min
  • Add cooked pasta to pan and top with shredded cheese
  • Serve Immediately with warm crusty bread for sopping up sauce :)
  • ENJOY!
