Quick, Easy, Delicious Garlic Bread

- 1 loaf French or Italian bread shopping list
- Variation 1: shopping list
- 6oz butter, melted shopping list
- garlic powder or Garlic spread or garlic salt shopping list
- 1/2 Tbsp parsley, chopped (ONLY if using either garlic powder or garlic salt. Garlic spread has herbs in it.) shopping list
- shredded mozzarella (optional) shopping list

- 6oz butter, melted shopping list
- 3 Large garlic cloves, crushed and chopped shopping list
- 1/2 Tbsp parsley, chopped. shopping list
- shredded mozzarella (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Slice bread loaf in half, lengthwise, with a serrated bread knife.
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
- Variation 1:
- With pastry brush, brush half of melted butter on inside of one half of the loaf. Brush the rest of the butter on the other half.
- Sprinkle garlic powder/garlic salt/garlic spread (PICK ONE!) all over the bread where it is buttered. Be careful not to use too much!
- Sprinkle parsley evenly over garlic and butter.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over garlic, butter, and parsley.
- Wrap bread halves in foil and place on a half sheet tray.
- Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes or until edges of bread are slightly toasted.
- Variation 2:
- Mix minced garlic in a small bowl with the butter.
- With a pastry brush, brush half of the melted butter/garlic mixture on the inside of one half of the loaf. Brush the rest of the butter on the other half.
- Sprinkle parsley evenly over garlic and butter.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over garlic, butter, and parsley.
- Wrap bread halves in foil and place on a half sheet tray.
- Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes or until edges of bread are slightly toasted.
- **NOTE: Makes a perfect side dish for literally ANY Italian dish.
