How to make it

  • 1 Prepare a marinade in a bowl by adding sugar, lemon juice, salt and pepper and mix well
  • 2 Cut chicken breast into pieces 3 inches long and about 1 1/2 inches thick
  • 3 Pierce pieces with a fork and leave in marinade for 15 minutes, turning frequently.
  • 4 Wrap the chicken pieces with bacon and secure the wrap with a toothpick, or add multiple chicken wraps to a skewer
  • 5 Bake, grill, fry or place on the barbecue grid over medium heat till done, time depends on method used to cook.
  • Can be frozen and re-heated in the microwave for a quick snack
