- 1 or 2 large chicken breasts skinned (depending how many you are catering for) shopping list
- 1 pack (200 grams) lean back bacon shopping list
- 1/2 cup lemon juice shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- toothpicks or skewers shopping list
How to make it
- 1 Prepare a marinade in a bowl by adding sugar, lemon juice, salt and pepper and mix well
- 2 Cut chicken breast into pieces 3 inches long and about 1 1/2 inches thick
- 3 Pierce pieces with a fork and leave in marinade for 15 minutes, turning frequently.
- 4 Wrap the chicken pieces with bacon and secure the wrap with a toothpick, or add multiple chicken wraps to a skewer
- 5 Bake, grill, fry or place on the barbecue grid over medium heat till done, time depends on method used to cook.
- Can be frozen and re-heated in the microwave for a quick snack
