Tzatziki

- 2 cups plain yogurt (low-fat or whole milk) shopping list
- 1 cucumber chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 Tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- pinch of pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Toss cucumber with 1 tsp of salt.
- Use cheesecloth or papertowels to line 2 sieves and set over 2 seperate bowls. Add the yogurt to one sieve and the cucumber to the other. Place in fridge for 3-4 hours to insure proper drainage.
- Once drained, combine cucumber and yogurt in a bowl and mix in the rest of the ingredients.
- Chill in fridge to allow flavors to blend.
- Can be served cold or at room temperature.
