Basic Chicken Curry

- 800gms -1 kg chicken cut into curry pieces or 8 pieces without skin shopping list
- 2 medium onion thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 tbsp of ginger garlic n green chilly paste (1-2 green chillies as per taste u can use ) shopping list
- 1 large tomatoes grated or ( u can use 2 tbsp of tomatoe paste if fresh tomatoes are not available ) shopping list
- 1 tsp cummin seed shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garam masala shopping list
- 1 tsp corriander powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp red chilly powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp tumeric powder shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 3tbsp of cooking oil shopping list
- 1 cup of water shopping list
- few corriander leaves to garnish shopping list
How to make it
- In a pressure cooker heat oil n golden fry onion then add washed chicken pieces and all the spices as mentioned above expect tomatoes
- Fry the meat with spices for next 5-8 mins till the oil starts leaving the spice cook on medium -low heat n cover in btw cooking ....
- After that add tomatoes cook till them till all indgredients are mixed well and cooked together this will take 3- 5mins
- Then add water mix well n give it a pressure so that meat is cooked well .... garnish with corriander leaves
- Serve with Steamed boil rice or vegetable pulao and onion pickle
- Enjoy!!!! :-)
- Tip :
- 1. U can add potatoes to this curry
- 2. if you feel curry is too thin u can add 1 tbsp of yogurt or cream to make it
