How to make it

  • 1. Remove wrappers from chocolates. Stir together ground almonds and powdered sugar in medium bowl until well blended. Stir together corn syrup and almond extract; pour over almond mixture, stirring until completely blended. Divide mixture in half, placing each half in separate bowls.
  • 2. Add green food coloring to one part; with hands, mix until color is well blended and mixture clings together. Add red food coloring to other half; mix as directed.
  • 3. Shape at least 1 tps colored almond mixture around each chocolate. Roll in granulated sugar. Store in airtight container in cool, dry place.
