Spinach Dip Recipe

- 1 package frozen spinach already thawed and drained shopping list
- 1 package of organic vegetable soup mix shopping list
- 1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped shopping list
- 1 onion finely chopped shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream (can be substituted with 1 cup yogurt) shopping list
- 1 cup organic mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 round Pumpernickel loaf (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Step 1
- In a large bowl, combine the spinach, soup mix, chestnuts, onions, sour cream and mayonnaise.
- If using as a vegetable dip, then refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours before serving.
- Step 2
- This step is optional for serving as party food or family get togethers.
- Cut a large hole in the top of the Pumpernickel loaf and scoop out the insides. Fill the Pumpernickel loaf with your dip.
- Step 3
- Cut up the bread from the inside of the loaf into bit size pieces. Serve these pieces with the Pumpernickel loaf. Cover with wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
