How to make it

  • Step 1
  • In a large bowl, combine the spinach, soup mix, chestnuts, onions, sour cream and mayonnaise.
  • If using as a vegetable dip, then refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours before serving.
  • Step 2
  • This step is optional for serving as party food or family get togethers.
  • Cut a large hole in the top of the Pumpernickel loaf and scoop out the insides. Fill the Pumpernickel loaf with your dip.
  • Step 3
  • Cut up the bread from the inside of the loaf into bit size pieces. Serve these pieces with the Pumpernickel loaf. Cover with wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
