How to make it

  • HOW TO: I always cook my beans in the micro or oven quickly before I use them. Just takes a second. Combine all the ingredients minus the spices. Mix the spices in a separate bowl and sprinkle on top of the beans and veggies while stirring. This dish is super yummy warm, the beans warm it up nicely. And in my opinion always better the day after the flavors have married a bit. And of course it is always fun to chop up all your ingredients first then have your little people poor everything in the bowl for you and help you sprinkle the spices on the food.
  • All these foods are questionable on whether or not they are migraine friendly, so you will need to do your food testing before making this recipe if you are prone to food related migraines. Thankfully, I can eat all these foods! I think a good addition to this dish would be chopped up avocado, which my migraines make me avoid, sadly!
