Brown Sugar Meringue

- 3 egg whites, room temperature shopping list
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar shopping list
- 6 Tbsp brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- 1
- Mix the egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy. Add brown sugar one tablespoon at a time, continuing to beat until whites are stiff and glossy. Beat in vanilla extract.

- Spread evenly over the hot pie filling, sealing the edges to the crust of the pie (no gaps). bake Until golden brown...10 minutes or so at 350.
