Skillet Lasagna

- 1 lb ground beef or ground beef/ ground sausage mix shopping list
- 8 lasagna noodles shopping list
- 1 jar(s) marinara sauce or your homemade recipe shopping list
- 2 c water shopping list
- 1 c shredded Italian cheese blend shopping list
- 3/4 c ricotta cheese shopping list
- 1/2 c sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1 Tbsp butter shopping list
How to make it

- melt butter in a large skillet over medium, heat. Add mushrooms and saute. Drain. Set aside.

- In same skillet cook ground meat over medium-high heat, stirring with fork. Cook until no longer pink. Drain. Stir in noodles, sauce and water; bring to a boil. Upon reaching a boil, add mushrooms and cover, reduce heat and simmer, stirring often. Cook 18- 20 minutes or until noodles are tender.

- Remove from heat, stir in 1/2 cup of the Italian cheese blend. Spoon ricotta on top. Add remaining Italian cheese. Cover. Let set 3 minutes to melt the cheese.
