Halibut Done The Right Way

- 2 fresh(try to avoid frozen) halibut fillets, about 1 inch thick. shopping list
- The juice of 1/2 to 1 whole lemon, depending on your taste. shopping list
- 5 tablespoons of butter or olive oil. shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste. shopping list
How to make it
- Set a frying pan on tho medium heat.
- Meanwhile, prepare you halibut by patting them to remove excess moisture.
- When the pan is hot, melt the butter the place the halibut in to the pan.
- Add lemon juice, and seasonings.
- Put a lid over top of the halibut and let it steam for about 7 minutes.
- Test your halibut by finding the thickest part, and openin g it up with a fork. if it is white and flakey, it is done. If there is any sign of it being translucent DO NOT EAT IT, IT IS NOT DONE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE OF HOW SICK YOU WILL BE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHANCES!!!!
