How to make it

  • In a trifle dish place angel food cake and drizzle with amaretto.
  • Pour 1 can of vanilla custard over cake.
  • Pour 1 can of pie filling.
  • Lay more cake and drizzle with amaretto.
  • Repeat until you're out of ingredients, top with Cool Whip and garnish with fresh fruit.
  • I've also used pound cake and blueberry pie filling.
