Mom's Dill Weed Dip

- 1 c. mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream shopping list
- 1 tsp season salt (I recommend Beau Monde by spice Islands) shopping list
- 1 tsp onion powder shopping list
- 2 tsp dried dill weed or fresh dill shopping list
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients and chill overnight.
Serving suggestion:
- If you can find it, get either a pumpernickle or Jewish rye round loaf.
- Cut the center from the loaf to make a bowl.
- Cut up the bread from the center into 1 inch cubes to serve.
- Spoon the dip into the bread bowl and place in the center of a serving tray.
- Surround with the bread cubes, carrots, celery, broccoli florets, cauliflower, green bell pepper, or whatever fresh vegetables you like best.
- If you cannot find round loaves, do not miss out on the bread. Just buy whatever loaf you can find and cut it into a dip-able size.
