Feta-basil Bison Burgers

- * 1 lb ground bison (or beef) shopping list
- * 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese shopping list
- * 2 tbsp fresh basil (minced) shopping list
- * 1 tsp salt shopping list
- * 1/2 tbsp black pepper shopping list
- * 1/4 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- * 3 tbsp sour cream shopping list
- * 1/2 shallot (minced) shopping list
- * 1 clove garlic (minced) shopping list
- * 3 tbsp basil (minced) shopping list
- * 2 tbsp parmesan cheese shopping list
- * 1/4 tsp black pepper shopping list
- * Pinch of salt shopping list
- * 1/4 onion (sliced) shopping list
- * 1/2 cucumber (sliced) shopping list
- * 2/3 cup cherry tomatoes shopping list
- * 2 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- * Extra salt and pepper shopping list
- * 4 hamburger buns shopping list
How to make it

- 1. Preheat oven to 425F. In a medium bowl, mash together the ground bison, feta, 2 tbsp basil, salt and pepper.
- 2. Divide the meat into four sections, roll into a ball, then make into hamburger patties.
- 3. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan, shallot, garlic, 3 tbsp basil, 1/4 tsp pepper and salt in a food processor and process until smooth.
- 4. Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil, salt and pepper and bake at 425F until soft (about 10-15 minutes).
- 5. Cook the hamburger patties to desired doneness on the grill.
- 6. Layer the hamburger bun, burger, sauce, onion slices, cucumber and tomato to serve.
