How to make it

  • Cook Wild Rice in 4 cups boiling water about 1 hour until all water has been absorbed
  • During the last 15 minutes, add Quinoa and, if rice is almost dry, 1 additional cup of boiling water
  • While rice is cooking, fry the bacon in a pan. When crisp, remove and drain
  • Mix vegetables and bacon with rice and Quinoa mixture in a casserole dish. Microwave on high for 10 mins. or in the oven at 350 F for 1/2 hour.
