How to make it

  • CAKE:
  • • Bring the Oil, Butter, Cocoa and Water to the boil in a pan.
  • • Mix the Sugar, Flour, Bicarb and Salt together in a bowl.
  • • Mix the Yoghurt, Eggs and Vanilla together and then add everything to the bowl and stir well.
  • • Place in a greased and lined baking tin measuring 22x32cm.
  • • Bake at 180C for 27 minutes
  • ICING:
  • • Mix everything except the Chocolate together in a bowl and ice the cake.
  • • Melt the Dark Chocolate in the top of a double boiler and drizzle over the cooled iced cake for that third dimension of Chocolate texture.
  • NOTE:
  • Passion fruit Version
  • • Leave out the 125g Cocoa and add 125g Flour to the original Flour quantity.
  • • Add 3Tbsp Granadilla (Passion fruit) pulp to the Yoghurt or use Passion fruit Yoghurt.
  • • Leave out the Cocoa Powder in the Icing and stir in 3Tbsp Passion fruit Pulp
  • You can use this recipe for tasty chocolate brownies just
  • Leave water out for Chocolate Brownies!!!!!
