Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • Beat egg in medium size bowl
  • Add in peanut butter and sugar; mix well
  • Roll dough into 1inch balls and place 2 inches apart on baking pan
  • Flatten, in crisscross pattern, with tines of fork.
  • Bake 8-10 min. or until lightly browned.
  • Cool on baking sheet for 1 min before moving onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  • (These are also good with Hershey kisses on top.)
  • Directions with Hershey Kiss:
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls
  • Bake 8 to10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Immediately press a chocolate into center of each
  • cookie; cookie will crack around edges.
  • Cool on baking sheet for 1 min before moving onto a wire rack to cool completely.

    This was the first recipe I learned as a kid. I made them all the time. Haven't make them since forever. But I loved them as a kid.
