- pinch of saffron threads shopping list
- 750ml hot fish stock shopping list
- 2-3 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 onion,finely chopped shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves,crushed shopping list
- 1 can tomatoes, chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp paprika shopping list
- 300g linguine shopping list
- 225g raw prawns shopping list
- 8 small scallops shopping list
- 225g firm white fish ( cod,haddock) shopping list
- 140g frozen peas shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- chopped fresh parsley shopping list
How to make it
- 1) Put saffron threads in a small bowl and add 2 tbsp of the hot fish stock. set aside.
- 2) Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and fry till soft and translucent (5-8min). Add the tomatoes and paprika cook 5 min. Add the saffron with its soaking liquid and half the remaining stock, bring to the boil.
- 3) Add the spaghetti, reduce the heat ,and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally for 5 min. Add the prawns, scallops, fish, and peas, cook until the pasta and fish are cooked through. If the mixture begins to dry out too much, add a little more stock. season to taste with salt and pepper, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.
