How to make it

  • Place lentils in a medium saucepan and cover with water (about 1 inch above lentils. Bring to boil, then simmer 10-15 minutes, until water is nearly gone and lentils are very soft. Set aside.
  • Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until soft. Set aside.
  • Grate the carrot and mix with two eggs, 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds and about 2 cups of bread crumbs.
  • Mash the lentils and mix with other ingredients. Finally, add onions and garlic and mix everything together. Shape into patties, and fry in canola oil until lightly browned.
