Vegetarian Lentil Burgers

- 1 cup of red lentils shopping list
- 3 cloves of garlic, chopped shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- 1 carrot, finely grated shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 4 tablespoons of light soy sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds shopping list
- 2 cups of panko bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 tbsp canola oil shopping list
How to make it
- Place lentils in a medium saucepan and cover with water (about 1 inch above lentils. Bring to boil, then simmer 10-15 minutes, until water is nearly gone and lentils are very soft. Set aside.
- Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until soft. Set aside.
- Grate the carrot and mix with two eggs, 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds and about 2 cups of bread crumbs.
- Mash the lentils and mix with other ingredients. Finally, add onions and garlic and mix everything together. Shape into patties, and fry in canola oil until lightly browned.
