How to make it

  • Soak channa dal in water for 6-7 hours.Drain the dal and make sure no water is left.
  • In a food processor grind coarsely the dal and green chillies.Transfer it to a mixing bowl.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, onion, dill, mint, coriander, curry leaves, coriander powder, garam masla, cinnamon-clove powder, salt and blend to the dal.
  • Make patties out this mixture and deep fry in oil in a medium heat, till golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
  • Tip: These patties can be steam cooked instead of frying which are much more healthier and light than fried patties.
