How to make it

  • * Clean and cut the potatoes and carrots. Carrots should be about 0.5-1cm thick slices, potatoes can be pieces of ca. 5cm x 1-2cm.
  • * Cut the onions in rings or small pieces (whatever you prefer)
  • * Put potatoes, carrots and onion together in one (big) pan, add water, and boil for about 20min.
  • * In the meantime, cut the apples into pieces (ca. 2 cm squared), and heat up in a baking pan with a little oil, until they become soft.
  • * When the potatoes and carrots are both soft, remove the pan from the fire, and drain most of the water. You can leave a little bit for moisture. If you like, add a bit of milk now.
  • * Mash the potatoes, carrots and onions together (using a potatoe masher)
  • * Add the pieces of apple, and mash just a bit more.
  • Enjoy!
