How to make it

  • Cream butter, sugars and vanilla together. add egg and beat until fluffy. add rest and mix well.
  • Roll into two rolls about 6-7 inches long and wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight.
  • Next day bring out cookie rolls and slice 1/4 inch thick and bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes for soft cookies and 12 minutes for crunchy ones
  • NOTE: These can be frozen as logs until ready to use and also given as gifts in the log form to bake fresh for those "I can't cook at all" friends.
