Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix the potato, butter, and flour, and work with a spoon or knead to make a smooth dough.
  • Chill for about 30 minutes.
  • Roll out 1/8 inch thick, and put on ungreased baking sheets. The dough can be rolled directly on the sheets if they are lightly floured.
  • If the glaze is desired, mix the egg yolk and milk, and brush it on the dough. Sprinkle with caraway seeds and salt, if desired.
  • Before putting in the oven, cut through the dough to make 1 by 3 inch strips.
  • Bake at about 375F till delicately brown and crisp.

Nice Post! You have me very intrigued on this.:-) I might try another types of flavoring like onion, garlic or chesse. Do you think that would work?
