Coconut Pecan Waffles with Honey Butter Sauce

- Waffles shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups biscuit & baking mix shopping list
- 1 cup quick oats shopping list
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 teaspoon coconut flavor shopping list
- 1 teaspoon butter flavor shopping list
- Toasted pecans for garnish shopping list
- honey butter Sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 cup honey shopping list
- 1/2 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat waffle iron. In medium bowl, combine biscuit mix, oats, coconut, and chopped pecans. In small bowl, combine milk, oil, eggs, and flavorings; beat with wire whisk until well blended. Stir into dry ingredients. Bake in oiled waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions.
- Serve warm with Honey Butter Sauce. Garnish with toasted pecans.
- To make sauce: Melt butter or margarine, stir in Honey and whipping cream. Microwave on high for 1 minute; stir in vanilla. Serve warm over waffles, ice cream, or other desserts.
- You can substitute Rum Extract to make a Honey Butter Rum Sauce.
