Ingredients

Combine let sit 10 minutes:

1/4 lb oleo (or fleishmans)

1 cup oatmeal

1 1/4 cup boiling water

then add:

1 cup white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs, beaten

1 1/3 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon cinnammon

Bake at 350 25-30 minutes

Directions

Topping: Boil, then place on warm warm cake and place back in warm oven for 10 minutes

5 tablespoons margarine

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup pecans, chopped

1/4 c cream or evaporated milk

1 cup coconut

1/4 cup karo syrup
