Coffee Banofee Pie Recipe

How to make it

  • For the base, crush the digestives and mix it with melted butter. Press the digestives onto a loose bottomed cake tin or whatever dish you’re using. Make sure that there are no holes. Chill.
  • Meanwhile, whip the cream until it's stiff.
  • Spread some of the cream onto the base, sprinkle a little bit of instant coffee then arrange the sliced banana, spread toffee then repeat. End with a final layer of cream.
  • Garnish with grated chocolate/ dust some cocoa powder and serve.

    The four C's...Coffee,Chocolat,Caramel,Cream.
    Surely one can not go wrong with said combination.
