How to make it

  • Add 1/4 cup olive oil to a pot and heat add rice, and cook for about 5-6 minutes.
  • Add hot water, bullion cups and 2 bay leaves.
  • Cook rice until tender.
  • Add ground beef and 1 bay leaf to a skillet and brown. ( Remove bay leave after cooking.)
  • Add 1/4 olive oil to skillet seperately and heat,
  • Add all veggies and cook until tender.
  • Add veggies, soy sauce, and ground beef and mix well.
  • Add meat mixture to rice, stir well. ( Remove bay leaves)
  • Let stand for 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve with bread if desired.
  • Enjoy.

    Great post, easy meal, I like that you add bay leaves, never thought to do that..I only use grd turkey, but it will still be delicious!
