How to make it

  • Preheat oven 350.
  • In a large glass bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil and pineapple (jucie and all). Mix well and pour into baking dish. Bake 35 minutes. Just before the cake is done, make the topping.
  • Topping: Mix well and boil for 5 minutes the butter, evaporated milk and sugar. Remove from heat. Add coconut and pecans.
  • Poke small holes into the cake and then pour topping onto the hot cake. Spread evenly.
  • This recipe makes 3 loaf pans, 2 med sized square cake or one sheet cake.
