How to make it

  • PRE-HEAT OVER AT 350*. CREAM BUTTER UNTIL LIGHT AS WHIPPED CREAM. ADD THE SUGAR GRADUALLY BEATING IT ALL THE TIME. ADD THE WHOLE EGGS ONE AT A TIME, BEATING BETWEEN EACH ADDITIONAL EGG THAT IS ADDED AS IT IS ADDED. SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR, BAKING POWDER AND SALT, AND FOLD IN 1/3 TO THE BUTTER MIXTURE, 1/3 OF THE MILK, AND CONTINUE UNTIL ALL FLOUR AND MILK ARE USED UP. NOW ADD FLAVORING. FLOUR AND BUTTER BAKING PANS THEN HALF FILL THEM WITH THE MIXTURE. BAKE IN OVEN AT 350* OR UNTIL DONE. TAKES ABOUT 35 MINUTES AND SERVES ABOUT 12.
  • WHEN COOLED FROST WITH A HOMEMADE FROSTING OF YOUR CHOICE.
