Mom's Mock Ham Salad Sandwich Spread

With five hungry kids to feed my mom would often make her version of ham salad using chunk garlic bologna instead of ham. To this day "real" ham salad seems as though it's missing something and we always return to what we like best. Read more So for all you post-depression folks out there, this is a real treat. Ingredients
- 1 lb. chunk garlic bologna shopping list
- 2 hard-boiled eggs shopping list
- 1 small to med. onion shopping list
- Grind above ingredients and place in a large bowl. shopping list
- ---------------- shopping list
- Dressing: shopping list
- 1/2 to 2/3 c. Miracle Whip shopping list
- 1/2 to 1 Tbsp. white vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 to 1 Tbsp. milk shopping list
- 1/4 to 1/3 c. sweet pickle relish shopping list
- Add a small amount of sugar to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In a separate small bowl add Miracle Whip and thin with the White Vinegar and Milk. Add Pickle Relish and mix well. Add just enough sugar to taste (tart yet sweet). Add dressing to above ingredients and blend well. Refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving.
