Makeover Mint Brownie Pie

For Brownie
- * 6 tbsp butter shopping list
- * 2 ounces semi-sweet chocolate shopping list
- * 1/2 C sugar shopping list
- * 2 eggs, lightly beaten shopping list
- * 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- * 1/2 C all-purpose flour shopping list

- * 1 - 8oz pkg 1/3 less fat cream cheese shopping list
- * 1/2 C sugar shopping list
- * 1/2 tsp peppermint extract shopping list
- * green food coloring shopping list
- * 1 - 8 oz. fat-free frozen whipped topping, thawed shopping list
- * mint and dark chocolate chips, optional (I used Nestle Toll House mint and Dark Chocolate Morsels.) shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Preheat oven to 350.
- 2. In a large saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Stir in sugar until smooth.
- 3. Mix in eggs and vanilla until well-blended. Stir in flour until combined.
- 4. Pour into a greased 9-inch spring form pan. Bake for 18-20 or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- 5. Cool on wire rack.
- 6. While brownie base is cooling, prepare filling. Beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- 7. Beat in extract and food coloring. Fold in whipped topping.
- 8. Spread evenly over brownie. Sprinkle with chips. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
- 9. Remove sides of pan right before serving.
