How to make it

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2. In a large saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Stir in sugar until smooth.
  • 3. Mix in eggs and vanilla until well-blended. Stir in flour until combined.
  • 4. Pour into a greased 9-inch spring form pan. Bake for 18-20 or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • 5. Cool on wire rack.
  • 6. While brownie base is cooling, prepare filling. Beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • 7. Beat in extract and food coloring. Fold in whipped topping.
  • 8. Spread evenly over brownie. Sprinkle with chips. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
  • 9. Remove sides of pan right before serving.
