How to make it

  • Sautee whatever veggies you want to put into this soup if you want any in a medium sauce pan. I used leftover cabbage from Saint Patrick's Day.
  • Then put in your tomatoes, fresh or canned, chopping or mashing to your preferred consistency. I used canned because they had been on sale.
  • Next put in as much pesto as you like. I used about half of one of those small jars.
  • Lastly, season as you like, maybe some pepper, garlic powder, or whatever your family likes.
  • Heat and eat!!
