Ingredients

How to make it

  • 1. Bring a large pot to a boil. Add the chicken pieces and bay leaves, boiling for 15 minutes.
  • Drain, rinse, and let sit a few minutes until dry.
  • 2. Meanwhile, bring the sauce ingredients together in a food processor. Pulse until a smooth, runny consistency is formed.
  • 3. Preheat oven to 400F. Place chicken pieces and garlic halves on foil-lined baking sheet or on parchment paper. Brush with spicy sauce coating just one time. Place on the second (middle) rack of the oven. Continue to coat the chicken every 5 to 10 minutes. Drizzle a little olive oil on top of the garlic halves.
  • 4. Bake for about 35 minutes or until well browned (or practically burned on the outside).
  • 5. Transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
