Grilled Caesar Salad

- 3 heads of packaged romaine lettuce shopping list
- Crushed garlic shopping list
- extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- juice of a fresh lemon shopping list
- Anchovy with a little of the canned oil shopping list
- Some shaved Parmesan shopping list
- red onion ( my addition ) shopping list
How to make it
- Separate the leaves of clean romaine lettuce and lay them in a 9 x 13 pan.
- Drizzle on olive oil, salt and pepper and crushed garlic
- Toss lettuce to coat well
- After you are done grilling your burgers, steak, chicken etc, lay on the romaine leaves and grill them over high heat till they get a little brown
- Remove to a platter, squeeze on fresh lemon juice and drizzle a bit of anchovy oil and pieces of anchovy over the salad.
- Garnish with shaved Parmesan if desired
- Serve while warm
- Note: no croutons on this salad
- Enjoy!
