Ingredients

How to make it

  • Dissolve yeast according to directions in about 1/2 a cup of water
  • In a large bowl beat eggs, add cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, salt, add Bisquick and mix well, add water and yeast and continue mixing.
  • If you have a hand mixer just scrape off mixer blades and continue until you get a nice thick batter. Let batter sit about 45 mins. in a warm place for it to rise. Then put into small loaf pans and let rise again.
  • Using a small tinfoil loaf pan (5 23/32 in x 3 5/16 in x 1 7/8 in) I put 3 small ice cream scoops of batter in and then sprinkled with a few chopped raisins, I put in 2 more scoops and topped with a few more raisins. I cooked at 425 for 25 mins.
  • I collect old kitchen utensils and the old ice cream scoop I used was made before they put the size on them , but it is about an inch and a half across.
  • On the above recipe you can add any fruit you like, I made this with cherries and it was very good.
