Korean Beef

- 1 pound lean ground beef shopping list
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon sesame oil shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced shopping list
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoon crushed red peppers (I left this out for my kids) shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 bunch green onions, diced shopping list
How to make it
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown hamburger with garlic in the sesame oil.
- Drain most of the fat and add brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, salt and pepper and red peppers.
- Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors.
- Serve over steamed rice and stir fry veggie mix top with green onions.
- We love to eat this with lettuce cups. I prefer boston butter and Husband prefers romain. My son hates lettuce so I just got him soft taco shells!
