Ravioli Soup

- 1 lb lean ground beef shopping list
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 3/4 tsp onion salt shopping list
- 2 tsp minced garlic (2 cloves) shopping list
- 1 Tbsp olive oil shopping list
- ! 1/2 cup finely chopped onions shopping list
- 28 oz can crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 6 oz can tomato paste shopping list
- 14 1/2 oz can beef broth shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dried basil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley shopping list
- 12 oz pkg plain ravioli w/ out sauce (frozen or refrigerated) shopping list
- grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- brown ground beef in large pot
- combine remaining ingredients except ravioli and Parmesan
- bring soup to a boil;
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes
- Uncover and simmer 30 mins stirring occasionally
- thaw and cook ravioli according to package directions until just tender
- Drain ravioli ; add to soup.
- Salt to taste. add Parmesan cheese.
