How to make it

  • In a saucepan put the first three ingredients and cook over medium heat, stir occasionally until mixture comes to a boil and then simmer for 5 minutes
  • Puree the mixture in food processor then put through a sieve and allow to cool add the cream or milk and vanilla and put in the machine according to manufacturers instructions.

    Yes just mix the same as directions and instead of putting it in a ice cream machine just put it in a container or containers and place in freezer it will just take a bit longer to freeze thats all!
