How to make it

  • soak dried cherries with the liquors and 3c water for one hour
  • clean all fruit
  • cut strawberries in 1/8ths
  • 1/2" dice the watermelon
  • grind between 1/2 to 2/3 of the watermelon in a food processor or blender and strain into the liquid with the dried cherries
  • grind 1/4 the strawberries and blueberries and about 1/3 to 1/2 the grapes in a food processor or blender and strain into liquid with the dried cherries
  • zest the citrus fruits and then juice them into the soup
  • add the balsalmic vin. and the cranberry juice
  • combine and bring to a boil the 1c water, 1c sugar, honey, and rasberry dessert sauce. cool afterwards
  • combine all fruit with soup mixture, and either add the zest or use as a garnish at service
