Stuffed Hotdogs Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • make a small pot of mashed potatoes (or use leftover from previous day)
  • -peel and dice about 6 medium potatoes
  • -add enough water to cover them completely, and a sprinkle of salt
  • -boil for about 10 min, or they fall apart when a fork is inserted through the center
  • -drain and add 1 tbsp butter and 1/3 c milk
  • -mix with a blender until light and fluffy
  • mix in mustard to make it a yellowish colour
  • set potato mix aside
  • Slice hotdogs across lengthwise not quite going all the way through
  • place on a baking sheet so none are touching its neighbour
  • add potato mixture to the slice in the hotdogs (should be bursting over the top
  • Sprinkle the top of the potatoes with enough cheese to coat. doesn't take much
  • bake in pre-heated oven 400 for 10 min or until cheese is melted and hotdogs are heated through
  • *note: you can make these and slice the u for a great party appatiser
