How to make it

  • Chop the onions and scallion to 1-inch pieces and puree together in a food processor, together with all other ingredients except for the walnuts. I like to leave small chunks of walnuts so once the texture becomes a paste, I add the walnuts and pulse the food processor for 3-4 times.
  • I toast a slice of bread, scope some of the tuna walnut spread on it and finish with a leaf of fresh basil on top. Chilled glass of white wine and…. its perfect. Enjoy.
