Secret Chili

- 3 lbs of ground beef shopping list
- 1 chopped large onion shopping list
- 1 chopped medium green pepper shopping list
- 2 chopped celery ribs shopping list
- 2 (16 oz) cans of kidney beans, rinsed and drained shopping list
- 1 can of condensed beef broth, undiluted shopping list
- 1-2 c. of water shopping list
- 1/4 c. of chili powder shopping list
- 2 tbsp. of worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp.of browning sauce (optional) shopping list
- additional chopped onions (optional) shopping list
- shredded cheddar cheese (optional shopping list
- 1 (29 oz) can of tomato puree shopping list
- 1 (16 oz) jar of salsa shopping list
- 1 (14 1/2 oz) can of diced tomatoes, undrained shopping list
- 1 tablespoon dried basil shopping list
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin shopping list
- 2 teaspoons steak sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper shopping list
How to make it
- First cook up beef in a large pan over medium flame.
- Drain.
- Add all vegetables except cheese and chopped onion.
- Let the veggies get tender.
- Now add the rest of ingredients except cheese and chopped onion.
- Let this boil a couple minutes before lowering the flame to low for another 30 min.
- Ladle and serve!
- Add cheese and onion for extra pep!
