- 1/2 lb mild Italian sausage shopping list
- 1/2 lb hot Italian sausage shopping list
- 1 onion, diced shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 rib celery sliced shopping list
- 1 carrot cleaned and sliced shopping list
- 2 Tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 2 t. italian seasoning shopping list
- 1/2 t. salt shopping list
- 1/2 t. red papper flakes shopping list
- 1 bay leaf1/2 c. red wine shopping list
- 4 c. chicken broth shopping list
- 1 can cannelli beans shopping list
- 2 cups chopped tomatoes shopping list
- 1 c. tomato juice shopping list
- 1/3 c dry orzo shopping list
- 3 c. fresh spinach shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350*. Line rimmed baking sheet with foil. Bake sausages for 20 mins. Drain on paper towels. Slice into 1/4-1/2" pieces. Saute onion, celery, carrot and garlic until onion is transparent. Add seasonings. Deglaze pan with wine.
- Add remaining ingredients, except orzo and spinach, and cook approx. 20 mins. Add orzo and spinach and cook until orzo is done.
