Beet Caviar

- 100 mL beet juice shopping list
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce or liquid aminos shopping list
- 1 g agar powder shopping list
- 1 bowl canola oil, for shaping shopping list
- apple juice, for storing (washes away the oil residue) shopping list
How to make it
- Whisk together the juice, soy sauce and agar in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a boil, whisking constantly.
- Simmer 10 minutes, stirring often.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture stand 5 minutes.
- Fill your syringe or squeeze bottle with the juice mixture and add to the oil, drop by drop.
- Strain the pearls and place in a container of apple juice until ready to use.
